Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects, playing a critical role in project planning and execution. Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services.
Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry.
Proficiency in estimating software.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
