On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will bring:
At least 8 years of experience in a technical Business Analyst role within the financial industry, specifically with securities lending, financing or FI transaction knowledge
Is technically savvy;able to elaborate the requirements/story points with technical team effectively and contribute in solutioning
At least 5 years of experience working in a highly matrixed environment
Good understanding of end-to-end systems delivery framework, including outlining assumptions and validating them, creation business requirements, considering impact analysis and analyzing the constraints
Strong process-orientation;can see the connections and integrations between different processes and the bigger picture of how it all fits together Ability to communicate findings, recommendations, detailed documentation, interact with internal stakeholders
Experience with business process modelling, software development and documentation tools (e.G. JIRA, Confluence) Familiarity with project management flow Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills coupled with technical aptitude
Detail oriented, logical, good business acumen, flexible, adaptable and able to take constructive feedback
Experience and skills required:
Be able to work with all systems delivery framework including agile, hybrid and waterfall Work with product owners to capture business requirements and document them using standard documentation templates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future state
Conduct detailed business process analysis and develop comprehensive process flow diagrams, user stories, functional specification documents, and use cases to facilitate system design and development Obtain key inputs from subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, dependent teams and identify solution interdependencies. Accordingly, conduct system mapping and data mapping
Develop detailed user stories, story mapping, stakeholder analysis and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owner
Clearly articulate and document business requirements to enable development and QA teams to deliver the required business & tech functions
Act as a liaison between business user and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications
Create and maintain documentation regarding all aspects of the product, including product operations, compliance, product launch processes, and system functionality
Participate in design review and walk-through Support testing teams/activities: test plan/case consultation and manage defect triage with appropriate application teams
Provide support during system implementation, including user training and post-implementation activities Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies
