Our client seeking a highly experienced and motivated Citrix Infrastructure Senior to join our Applications Tech Stream team. This role is critical in maintaining and evolving their virtual desktop and application delivery environment, ensuring high performance, availability, and security for their end-users.
Key Responsibilities
Citrix Expertise: Utilize strong expertise in Citrix technologies to manage and optimize our infrastructure.
Application Publishing: Focus on simple and complex application publishing workflows to ensure seamless access for users.
VDI Management: Handle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) rollout, new VDI request fulfillment, and ongoing maintenance.
AVD Tasks: Perform tasks related to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
General Administration: Provide comprehensive system administration for the Citrix and related virtual infrastructure, including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues related to application delivery, VDI performance, and core infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications
Proven, strong experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop).
Solid understanding of VDI concepts and lifecycle management.
Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Experience with application layering, profile management, and related technologies (e.G., Citrix PVS, MCS, WEM, FSLogix).
Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and networking principles.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
