In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional hybrid infrastructure and cutting-edge cloud solutions, ensuring our migration and day-to-day operations are both resilient and innovative.
Reporting to the Manager of Platform Services, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud platform services. You will be the architect and steward of our Azure Cloud Landing Zone, enabling secure and operationally sound cloud adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Platform Engineering: Design and enhance the Azure Cloud Landing Zone, including core services, governance guardrails, and identity integration.
Cloud & DevOps Enablement: Partner with application and DevOps teams to provision and optimize Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
Hybrid Infrastructure Migration: Leverage your knowledge of on-premises platforms to lead the transition of services to Azure, managing connectivity, identity, and operational readiness.
Operational Excellence: Design enterprise monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance across all platforms.
Security & Governance: Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability remediation, patch planning, and implementing cloud security best practices.
What You Bring to the Team
A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
At least 5 years of experience engineering cloud platforms, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Server, and Linux.
Familiarity with IaC tools (Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell) and a solid understanding of Azure networking (VNets, ExpressRoute).
Excellent analytical skills to resolve complex production issues across both cloud and legacy systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional IT and security teams.
