The Cloud Security Consultant will assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure/Entra ID.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Management: Configure and maintain cloud-native IAM platforms (Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM). Design and implement secure identity solutions, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and compliance checks (e.G., ISO 27001, NIST).
Asset Management: Support and remediate identity-linked cloud assets and ensure all assets are governed by appropriate IAM controls. Take ownership of IAM-related incident and problem tickets.
Service & Continuous Improvement: Provide advanced support for cloud IAM tickets. Follow ITIL-aligned processes. Identify opportunities to enhance and mature cloud IAM solutions through automation (e.G., Microsoft Graph API, Power Automate).
Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT, with a focus on IAM, network security, or security operations.
Experience in or supporting electrical utility environments, including Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA systems, is a strong asset.
Familiarity with high availability architectures and critical infrastructure systems.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of PIM, SIEM, OT/SCADA systems, networking, firewall technologies, and security frameworks like NIST and OCSF.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong analytical/troubleshooting skills, effective risk management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Technologies: Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Conditional Access, PIM, Defender for Identity, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Policy, ITIL, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Automate.
Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP/CCIE Security, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are considered assets.
