Our client is seeking a Cloud Systems Architect to join their team.
As a Cloud Systems Architect, you will be the bridge between high-level strategy and technical reality. This is a hands-on delivery and enablement role where you will turn cloud roadmaps into practical, scalable, and resilient solutions.
You will work at the heart of our digital transformation, modernizing workloads and establishing the engineering standards that will define our future-state environment.
Key Responsibilities
Translate approved architecture principles into secure cloud landing zones, identity integrations, and connectivity patterns.
Lead the charge in moving enterprise workloads from on-premises to the cloud using Rehost, Replatform, and Refactor strategies.
Build and maintain reusable templates and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code.
Partner with Cybersecurity to implement Zero Trust controls, vulnerability management, and continuous compliance within delivery pipelines.
Improve service reliability through advanced observability, automated recovery mechanisms, and performance tuning.
Act as a technical coach for infrastructure and delivery teams, helping them adopt modern DevSecOps practices and cloud-native tooling.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, or platform engineering.
Hands-on expertise in at least one major public cloud platform;Azure and AWS experience is strongly preferred.
Deep knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, PowerShell, or Python.
Strong background in IAM, networking, containers, and backup/recovery within regulated or highly controlled environments.
Ability to connect complex application, data, and security requirements into cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
