Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to support and strengthen their cybersecurity posture across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on implementing and monitoring advanced security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and proactively identifying and mitigating cyber risks.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity or IT security operations experience.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), and vulnerability management platforms (e.G., Tenable One).
Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, JSON, KQL, or similar scripting/automation languages.
Compliance: Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, and applicable CSA security standards.
Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Level II (Secret) Security Clearance.
