Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their data team. This team plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing vast amounts of data generated by their cloud services and mobile devices. The primary responsibility is to transform this data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decisions for stakeholders and creating value for the business, customers, and partners.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
5 years of industry experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with most of this experience gained from a product company.
Customer-facing experience, ideally in a pre-sales engineering position.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Experience in BI engineering with data processing tools such as Spark and Airflow.
Familiarity with AWS services (e.G., EC2, S3, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis Firehose, Redshift) or GCP services (e.G., Big Query).
Good knowledge of Tableau data source and dashboard creation.
Experience working with the suite of tools from SalesForce.Com.
Excellent communication and team-working skills.
Bonus Skills
Experience with cloud engineering and DevOps tools.
Experience with business insights and senior leadership presentations.
AWS, GCP, or data visualization related certification.
