Our client is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead our Data Strategy and Governance initiatives. This role will define standards, models, and integration patterns to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and promote data governance standards and best practices.
Facilitate workshops with business and technical teams.
Document data lineage, integrations, and transformations.
Define and maintain data architecture and systems of record.
Lead data scorecard development and quality tracking.
Contribute to data strategy, methodology, and process improvements.
Deliver work using Agile methods.
Required Experience
8+ years in data governance, strategy, and information architecture.
Strong experience with data-driven solutions (dashboards, reports, models).
Proven ability to develop data strategies and governance frameworks.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, including logical diagrams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure Data Services, Informatica, or SparxEA.
Knowledge of cloud data integration and metadata management.
TOGAF certification considered an asset.
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Information Architecture, Data Analytics, or related field.
