Provides leadership and HR expertise to business leaders, focusing on employee relations, engagement, talent planning, and development. Supports business growth through strategic HR initiatives and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
Partners with senior leadership to influence HR priorities and drive people-related initiatives.
Advises on HR strategies and processes, including compensation, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Uses HR data to identify trends and improve retention and talent development.
Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Resolves operational inquiries and provides HR policy guidance.
Supervises a small HR team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, CHRP designation required.
10-15 years of HR Business Partner experience in a federally regulated financial institution.
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Knowledge of Canadian HR compliance and banking regulations.
