The Senior Project Manager will lead large, complex projects from concept to implementation, managing cross-functional teams, project plans, schedules, resources, and budgets. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, including senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful planning, execution, and implementation.
Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and governance documentation.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage vendor performance, and oversee testing.
Collaborate with Change Management and Communications teams for effective adoption.
Report on project status, risks, and dependencies, adhering to PMO standards.
Manage complex enterprise-level projects, providing senior expertise in system development and deployment.
Maintain and manage risk, action, issue, and decision (RAID) logs.
Define scope, sequencing, scheduling, and budgeting for implementation plans.
Manage procurement and vendor relationships.
Define and measure project performance indicators and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Core Duties:
Initiate projects, define requirements, develop plans, budgets, and schedules, and form teams.
Define and follow project management methods, procedures, and quality objectives.
Balance workload, guide project teams, and remove roadblocks.
Ensure team members have necessary tools and training, and provide feedback.
Assess variances from plans and implement corrective actions.
Evaluate sponsor/client satisfaction and draft contracts/Service Level Agreements.
Identify process improvements and coach project managers.
Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, vendors, and clients.
Maintain professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of IT techniques and tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of nine years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Supervisory experience may be required.
Technical expertise in a highly specialized area.

Experience implementing CRM, Recruitment Systems, Salesforce, APIs, MuleSoft, Utility Management Systems, Student Information Systems, Workday, or similar COTS/ERP systems.
Experience preparing and managing RFPs/RFIs.
Technical expertise in IT project management for large-scale COTS systems.
Demonstrated ongoing career development in project management.
