Job Description


This critical role is responsible for managing and analyzing IT department budgets, providing financial insights, and supporting decision-making processes within the organization. The incumbent will be the day-to-day finance resource for all IT programs, working closely with IT Managers to perform in-depth analysis and present key findings concerning areas of risk or saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Budgeting: Develop, monitor, and manage IT budgets;provide financial forecasts for IT projects;track costs related to IT investments (infrastructure, software, cloud services);participate in annual budget planning.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular financial reports related to IT spending, budget variances, and project financial health;perform analysis of historical spending for cost control;handle Month-End Accruals, Forecasts, and GL Reconciliation.
  • Invoices & Payment: Ensure proper GL coding and budget alignment for all IT-related invoices;manage IT invoices and payments;coordinate new vendor setup.

Knowledge / Skill Requirements:
  • Strong financial acumen and excellent quantitative and analytic skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, graph creation) and data manipulation.
  • Ability to draw deep insights from complex data and present key recommendations and findings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;problem solver with attention to detail.

Recommended Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification is preferred or in progress.
