Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work within a 3-6 person team, owning business requirements and iteratively delivering to production.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand and challenge requirements.
Provide integral production support, including participating in a rota.
Learn and adapt to multiple programming languages and technologies.
Identify and address technical debt.
Engage in pairing with team members and share knowledge.
Participate in Production governance, Monitoring Risk & Control Support.
Automate the continuous integration/delivery pipeline, fostering continuous improvement.
Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to learn with minimal supervision.

Must-haves:

Expertise in Java 8+, Spring framework, and handling multi-threaded applications.
Working knowledge of Unix and infrastructure understanding.
Knowledge of HTTP APIs (e.G., RESTful APIs).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to fully test implemented solutions, including writing Unit tests.

Good to have:

MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GCP (Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine), S3.
Python, AI/ML, and Parquet file handling.
Experience outside of investment banking.
