Job Description


Our client is seeking a Guidewire Integration Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations within the Guidewire InsuranceSuite ecosystem. In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing solutions that connect core systems, ensure data consistency, and deliver seamless functionality for end users. You’ll also handle defect fixes and business-prioritized enhancements in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations using Guidewire APIs, Gosu, Java, SOAP/REST web services, Integration Gateway, and messaging frameworks.
  • Develop batch processes, event messaging, and plugin-based integrations with third-party systems.
  • Configure and extend the Guidewire data model, including PCFs, product models, and underwriting rules.
  • Collaborate with architecture and QA teams to ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues to maintain system reliability.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Programming: Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, SQL
  • Integration Technologies: Guidewire APIs, SOAP/REST web services, Messaging, Plugins
  • Platforms: Guidewire Cloud, AWS (preferred), IntelliJ
  • Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Confluence
  • Testing: Unit Testing, API Test Frameworks
  • Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, SurePath, CI/CD
