Lead the ETRM Applications support organization, managing demand and providing support services.
Oversee the support of specialized Commodity Management business processes, from transaction origination to settlement.
Lead enhancement, maintenance, and support for Commodity Portfolio Management, Commercial Reporting, Credit and Commodity Risk, and Legal processes.
Manage enhancement, maintenance, and support for business processes supporting Managed Portfolio & Offsets (MP&O).
Provide leadership to Business Analysts and IT System Professionals supporting MP&O.
Report to the CIO, providing leadership to both business-skilled and technical managers.
Ensure highly responsive and customer-focused application support, monitoring performance and ensuring high availability.
Oversee application maintenance functions, including security patches, upgrades, code modifications, and data management.
Establish, monitor, measure, and report performance metrics, focusing on budget management, application reliability, customer satisfaction, data integrity, and staff/employee effectiveness.
Required Experience:
10+ years in ETRM systems or commodity trading.
7+ years managing application services and processes.
7+ years developing, managing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
5+ years in progressively responsible leadership roles.
5+ years working with Commodity trading support organizations.
In-depth understanding of ETRM business processes (preferably Allegro).
Experience supporting integrated ETRM systems with multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of Power, Natural Gas, and Emissions commodity markets in North America.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of application enhancement, maintenance, and support for energy trading.
Strong management of day-to-day production support and ability to work with systems professionals to address issues promptly.
Ability to provide thought leadership in Commodity Management Applications and core business, including energy trading, portfolio analytics, and risk management.
Proven ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and prepare reports.
Budget preparation and administration.
Deep understanding of IT system governance.
Ability to lead a team through crisis situations.
Deep understanding of release management and change management functions.
