We are looking for a hands-on Test Laboratory Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our test lab. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating tests, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining equipment, and supporting lab personnel.
This is an on-site role based in Pickering, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure lab staff are trained in safety and testing procedures
Oversee and perform electrical testing of equipment
Plan and coordinate test schedules with production and inspectors
Maintain accurate test records and reports
Keep testing equipment in safe and calibrated condition
Support engineering with technical test data
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
Supervise and evaluate lab staff performance
What You Bring
Diploma in Electrical or Power Systems Technology, or equivalent experience
Experience in high voltage testing and lab supervision
Knowledge of standards (ANSI, CSA, IEC) for instrument transformers
Proficient in Microsoft Office and test data analysis
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Safety-conscious and team-oriented
