High Voltage Test Lab Manager Instrument Transformers
Our Client seeks a High Voltage Test Lab Lead to manage daily operations, strategic initiatives, and technical excellence. This role involves leading and mentoring lab personnel, managing engineering functions, and ensuring adherence to global testing standards (IEEE, CSA). Responsibilities include budget management, continuous improvement, and championing EHS practices. The Lead will collaborate with internal stakeholders and analyze test results for product validation.
Requirements:
Electrical Engineering degree;P.Eng certification is a plus.
5-7 years of leadership experience in a high-tech/manufacturing environment (unionized preferred).
In-depth knowledge of high voltage electrical testing methodologies, equipment, and relevant standards (IEEE, CSA, IEC).
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Proficiency in advanced quality management tools (FMEA, DMAIC, 5 Why, SPC) and Lean/Six Sigma.
Data-driven mindset with strong communication and team development skills.
