Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance and availability.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
Design and deploy secure LAN/WAN and wireless network architectures.
Detect and mitigate network threats, ensuring compliance with security standards.
Document network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.
Collaborate with teams to support business applications and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Expertise in firewalls (e.G., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.G., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
Strong problem-solving skills for complex network issues.
Relevant certifications (e.G., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus. Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
Knowledge of automation tools (e.G., Python, Ansible) for network tasks.
Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS).
