Duration: 6 months could extend to 9 months Our client is looking for a Imperva Security Engineer who will be responsible for leading the first line of defense for Information Security services around database security and related matters.
Responsibilities:
Day to day operational support of the our clients database activity monitoring infrastructure. Performing patching/ upgrades, monitoring and responding to infrastructure health alerts, aiding in remediation of agents in an error state etc.
Performing agent upgrades and rollout across a large enterprise. Inventory scope covers windows, Linux, and AIX OSes and MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, Postgres etc. Database types.
Technical documentation of client related key processes and handover of processes and knowledge to our operations teams
Participates in security incident response activities and post-event reviews of security incidents
Responsible for coordinating with internal teams to implement database monitoring solutions and improving the security aligned with corporate business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and skills:
Hands on technical expertise relevant to configuration of agents and Imperva software on servers
Strong written and verbal communication, self-motivated accountable individual with attention to detail. Ideally resource with previous large enterprise or FI expertise
Knowledge of Database Security best practices and security solutions.
Experience working with various operating systems and database systems (Oracle and MS SQL)Experience in a cloud-based environment is preferred (Azure, AWS)
