Our client in Brampton is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work in a cross-functional engineering environment, contributing to design, integration, and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop advanced robotics and mechanical systems.
Conduct design and analysis activities, including tolerance stack-up and component selection.
Investigate and resolve issues during development and testing phases.
Review mission and system requirements, ensuring compliance with design objectives.
Support integration planning and liaise with operations, subcontractors, and customers.
Participate in technical reviews and discussions with international partners.
Contribute to process improvements within the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware testing and verification.
Strong communication skills for presenting ideas, test results, and technical reports.
Experience with NX CAD & CAE tools for mechanism design (preferred).
Understanding of spacecraft design and verification (an asset).
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
