Our client is looking for a Services Consultant who will be responsible for providing the following services to a Bank: Under the direction of the Assistant Director.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and implement enhancements to meet business requirements (regulatory driven and technology evergreening)
Perform technical and root-cause analysis on issues and make recommendation for correction.
Promote development practices such as test-driven development and DevOps.
Adopt and champion the current frameworks that have been built to automate and modernize the Findur application.
Other related activities and deliverables, as required. Required Qualifications & Skills The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
University degree or college diploma in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
A minimum of three (5) years of demonstrated experience with Java-based application development using Eclipse IDE, preferably with Oracle RDBMS in the backend.
A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with RDBMS databases, solid understanding of SQL.
Demonstrated experience in supporting applications with high-criticality, availability, reliability, and security requirements.
Demonstrated experience with Findur or Endur. Candidates without direct experience are encouraged to apply if they have a strong background in financial technology platforms and demonstrate the ability to learn new systems quickly. Additional Qualifications The following will also be considered:
Demonstrated experience with Agile projects (SCRUM)
Demonstrated experience with performance testing.
Demonstrated experience with financial applications/systems.
Demonstrated experience with data warehouses.
Demonstrated experience with DevOps (Jenkins, GitHUB)
