Our client is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Specialist to lead configuration, administration, and operational support of our Microsoft Fabric environment. This role will ensure the platform is secure, performant, scalable, and aligned with enterprise data governance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with data platform operations, environment configuration, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. Key Responsibilities
Platform Configuration & Administration
Configure and administer Microsoft Fabric capacities, workspaces, security roles, and tenant settings
Manage OneLake storage configuration and governance controls
Implement RBAC, data access policies, and integration with Azure AD
Configure networking, gateways, and connectivity to enterprise data sources
Operations & Support
Monitor Fabric capacity utilization, performance metrics, and cost optimization
Troubleshoot pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, and dataflows
Provide L2/L3 operational support and incident resolution
Implement backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures
Maintain operational documentation and runbooks
Data Engineering & Integration Support
Support deployment and configuration of Data Factory pipelines within Fabric
Assist with Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics setup
Optimize SQL endpoints and semantic models
Collaborate with BI teams supporting Power BI artifacts
Governance & Security
Implement data governance, lineage tracking, and compliance controls
