Our client is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Administrator to join their dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, including configuration, management, and support of various services and applications within the ecosystem. Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Microsoft Graph API is highly desirable and considered a valuable addition to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related services by performing regular updates, backups, and monitoring system health to ensure optimal performance and security.
Administer and support Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related identity and access management components by managing user accounts, groups, and permissions, and implementing multi-factor authentication to enhance security.
Implement and manage security and compliance policies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem by executing threat detection and response strategies, configuring data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
In addition, expertise in managing Windows applications and devices patching is essential. This includes performing regular updates, ensuring system compliance, and deploying patches to mitigate vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will also be adept at using tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/Autopatch to streamline patch management processes.
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration and management is preferred to enhance security measures and provide robust virtualization solutions.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary by analyzing system logs, conducting root cause analysis, and applying patches or updates to resolve vulnerabilities and improve stability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and resolve incidents promptly by responding to service requests, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and providing solutions or escalating to higher-level support when needed.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft 365 services by coordinating projects, sharing knowledge, and ensuring that new implementations align with overall organizational IT strategies and goals.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures by creating detailed guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer across the team.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and others.
Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) administration and management.
Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API is nice to have.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
