Job Description


The Product Owner will be a key member of the Digital Platforms team, focused on driving the execution of program priorities within an agile framework. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements (user stories and epics) for global and regional stakeholders, performing in-depth requirements analysis, and contributing to new product business cases. A core responsibility is maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of features by defining and prioritizing the Team Backlog.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Product Owner (60%): Create, manage, and groom the backlog of user stories. Ensure stories meet the high-quality Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and align with the overall product strategy, including necessary UX/UI inputs.
  • Product Strategy Support (25%): Collaborate with Product Management on the longer-term roadmap, providing input on features and epics. Drive platform demonstrations for wider business and stakeholder engagement.
  • Feature Documentation (10%): Deliver comprehensive documentation for new features, managing contributions for technical, support, and runbook content.
  • Process Improvement (5%): Propose and implement operational improvements to the development pipeline, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality delivery standards.

Required Experience & Knowledge
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of equivalent experience, seasoned agile practitioner, in-depth requirements gathering, customer journey mapping, and roadmap experience.
  • Skills: Skilled negotiator with senior stakeholders, commercial mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and solid time management/prioritization.
  • Knowledge: Expertise in SAFe framework and agile methodologies, UX/CX, QA/UAT practices, wireframing/rapid prototyping, and a knowledge of current/emerging technology.
  • Education/Certification: Minimum degree level education or equivalent industry experience, and SAFe or Agile certification.
