This role requires a candidate to work with project leadership, stakeholders, senior leaders, external vendors, and the general project team to effectively coordinate project activities.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Managing the project’s calendar (creating/updating meetings, availability checks, ensuring meetings are prepared with video-conference info).
Following up on project tasks, corresponding with team members, capturing completion status, issues, and risks, and providing consolidated updates to the Project Manager.
Attending project meetings and ensuring key discussion points, actions, and notes are captured and distributed.
Administration:
Preparing material and presentations in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Word.
Experience with and ability to work with a MS SharePoint intranet (file administration, assigning permissions, organizing file structure).
Assisting Project leadership with Financial reporting, working with Financial teams to manage accruals, receipting, invoicing, and purchase orders with regular status reporting.
Experience Required:
Education Required: College Diploma or Bachelor Degree (minimum).
Minimum 5-6 years of experience working with, supporting, and implementing projects in a similar role.
Must be a self-starter and keen on exploring new solutions.
Must be result-oriented and able to deliver quality results in a timely manner.
Ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Skilled in using MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS Office.
