Lead business analysis for the Library Management System (LMS) replacement, from discovery to implementation.
Analyze current library operations and integrations (40+ auxiliary systems).
Define and validate business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops to map future workflows and prioritize requirements.
Partner with vendors and IT for system design, configuration, and testing.
Support testing readiness, including test script writing and UAT.
Collaborate with Change Management for user readiness and adoption.
Contribute to governance, risk assessment, and project reporting.
Required Skills/Experience:
5–8 years of business analysis experience in large-scale IT/enterprise system projects.
Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts.
Understanding of library operations, user needs, and academic workflows.
Skilled in analyzing and documenting complex system ecosystems.
Proficient in facilitating collaboration between business and IT teams.
Experience working with executives to drive consensus.
Strong process visualization skills and ability to translate requirements into clear deliverables.
Highly proficient with Jira (or equivalent) for requirements tracking and management.
Ability to support and facilitate testing activities.
Experience with change management.
Certifications: CBAP or PMI-PBA preferred;Agile or Scrum certification is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline;8+ years related experience with 2+ years managerial, or equivalent.
Degree in IT or Business Administration preferred.
Supervisory experience is an asset.
Experience implementing CRM, Recruitment Systems, Salesforce, APIs, MuleSoft, Utility Management Systems, Student Information Systems, Workday, or other COTS.
Project experience in higher education, policy, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in change management, data management, and solution/enterprise architecture.
Technical expertise in IT project management of large-scale COTS systems, including systems development, enterprise architecture, business process change, QA, testing, data migration, and integration.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
Intermediate knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices.
Effective leadership, consulting, consensus building, conflict resolution, negotiation, and team-building skills are an asset.
