Job Description


Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical decision-making for scrum teams, collaborating with architects and tech leads.
  • Develop coding standards and testing approaches.
  • Collaborate with delivery lead on planning, execution, and issue escalation.
  • Design and develop cloud-based microservices (Azure, GCP).
  • Analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications.
  • Leverage industry best practices for solution design, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Ensure quality, security, and compliance.
  • Perform performance analysis and tuning.
  • Provide production support.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years hands-on Java application development experience (Object-Oriented, Design Patterns).
  • Knowledge of SOAP or RESTful web service protocols.
  • Unix/Linux knowledge and strong shell scripting skills.
  • Database experience: Oracle, MySQL;strong SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Understanding of operating systems, development environments, and deployment practices.
  • Proficiency in business analysis, technical analysis, and design requirements.
  • Highly experienced with Wealth Management systems (trading, fee management, reporting).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and project management experience.
  • Creative, self-starting, results-oriented, motivated with strong analytical skills.
  • Solid development and support experience for complex technical problems.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Creative and flexible in identifying technical solutions in a dynamic environment.

Assets:
  • Experience in wealth applications/trading systems.
  • Technical or business certification.
  • Agile and DevOps experience.
