Project Leadership: Oversee projects through all phases, ensuring resources are utilized, timelines are met, and performance parameters are achieved. Develop project plans, prioritize work, and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies.
Communication & Reporting: Prepare and present proposals, status reports, and risk logs to analyze progress and challenges. Provide regular updates to senior management and act as the central point of contact for all project resources.
Team & Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners. Coordinate input and support from functional areas. Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and backlog management for the delivery team.
Process & Delivery: Assist the team with change requests and risk mitigation plans. Ensure all project deliverables, including documentation and processes, are completed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years of recent, demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure and network security.
Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist overseeing medium-to-large infrastructure modernization projects in a complex environment.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managing interdependencies.
Core Competencies: Strong business acumen (translating needs into objectives), strong stakeholder management and communication (technical and non-technical), analytical and problem-solving skills (especially risk mitigation), and collaborative ability.
Additional Qualifications (Assets)
PMP or SCRUM Master Certification.
Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure lifecycle programs, including hardware evergreening and integration of cloud-native technologies across hybrid environments.
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale network security projects, including firewall architecture modernization and Zero Trust implementations.
