A pivotal role focused on driving growth in the metals business. You will manage the supply of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum across sectors like automotive and construction. The position integrates account management with sales operations, covering market analysis, logistics (import/export), inventory planning, and supporting strategic supply chain planning.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Management: Oversee assigned accounts, manage daily inquiries, logistics, and claims. Build strong partnerships with customers and suppliers, and identify new business opportunities/product applications.
Business Insight: Contribute to pricing strategies and mid-to-long-term sales planning. Prepare sales data, forecasting, and market trend reports.
Operations: Maintain deep technical knowledge of materials, production schedules, and inventory. Coordinate logistics flows, track inventory/contracts, and resolve operational discrepancies to improve workflows.
Compliance: Ensure all contracts and trading terms comply with internal policies, and support basic risk-management activities.
Qualifications & Attributes
Education: University degree required.
Experience: 3–5 years in sales, purchasing, trading, or supply chain management. Experience in the steel or automotive materials industry is highly preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office;SAP experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
