This role focuses on two key areas: improving ICS remote access and enhancing business continuity for Corporate Security's infrastructure, particularly the Genetec environment.
Responsibilities:
ICS Remote Access:
Document requirements and use cases for ICS remote access across all business units.
Inventory existing solutions, identify gaps, and recommend improvements from operational and cybersecurity standpoints.
Evaluate leading remote ICS access applications (including XONA and Cyolo) against defined criteria (infrastructure simplification, cybersecurity, ease of use/maintenance).
Pilot at least one selected application.
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery:
Update and enhance the Business Continuity Plan and toolsets for Corporate Security, including high availability (AWS multi-regions) and disaster recovery.
Design and build disaster recovery plans for various scenarios (e.G., lost AWS region, network outage, application loss).
Create automation for rapid environment rebuilds.
Establish backup and restore processes and tools, and define standard operating procedures.
Design and build application-specific monitoring and triggers for the Genetec Security environment (server, application, database, Windows services).
Expectations:
Ensure current infrastructure supports the Business Continuity Plan.
Properly test the disaster recovery process for the Genetec environment.
Review and update backup and restore processes.
Establish monitoring capabilities for the Genetec Security environment.
Deliverables:
New/updated technical design documents.
Documented and approved major decisions (Decsum).
Technical design document for Genetec system monitoring.
