Job Description


Lead the definition, design, and implementation of technology solutions within the Capital Markets division, focusing on complex business problems within Mid-Office and Equity Settlement. You will manage a team of analysts, coordinate projects, and act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, engineering, and vendors to ensure seamless post-trade processing and trade lifecycle operations

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Engineering: Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in formulating the technology roadmap for mid-office and post-trade applications.
  • System Implementation: Lead the systems implementation process, including test strategies, user workflows, and conversion plans.
  • Technical Resolution: Resolve multi-faceted bookkeeping and posting issues for Institutional Equity, Cash, and Electronic Execution desks.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies (Scrums) and coordinate project workstreams within a global engineering framework.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and leverage relationships with senior partners to validate requirements and manage project scope.
  • Mentorship: Coach and guide junior Business Analysts and technical staff.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 5–7 years of Business Analysis in Capital Markets (Institutional Brokerage or specialized Fintech vendor).
  • Education: University degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the Institutional Equity business, including listed products (Equity, Options, Debentures, ETFs).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Hands-on experience with double-entry bookkeeping and journal principles.
    • Deep knowledge of trade protocols and platforms (e.G., FIX Protocol, Broadridge suites, or similar Order Management Systems).
    • Familiarity with Depository Settlement Processes (e.G., DTCC/CDS) and post-trade matching tools (e.G., CTM, FMC).
  • Methodology: Expert-level knowledge of the SDLC and Agile development processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data modeling and process mapping.
